A and E's Adventures: And The Fun Continues....

26 Months!

Adisyn is more impressive every day. She is expanding her vocabulary and is able to better express herself. She is magically developing sentences that become more and more complex every week it seems. We also had a few warm days at the beginning of March before turning cold again so we got to get outside more.

To start, we have been talking more Spanish. All of her animals have Spanish "names" for their name. For instance, her turtle's name is "Tortuga" or she calls him "Tuga" for short. So far she knows the word open, turtle, shark, butterfly, and let's go in Spanish. She can also count to 3 or 4 in Spanish as well.

She is also learning more about expressing her feelings. She will tell me things like "Mommy, Adi is tired" (or sad, happy, thirsty or hungry). She will also tell me that her baby is feeling a certain way such as "Mommy, baby is sad", when you ask her why the baby is sad she will say "She missed dada".

At the end of February we went to Myrtle Beach. Even though it was still cold, it was nice to enjoy some quiet beach time. Adisyn loved to look for shells to so she could bring home to Grandma (who was at our house watching our dogs). For some reason, though, she was still afraid of the water, and in particular the waves, which you can see by some of the pictures:

We also went to the Alligator Adventure park, in Myrtle Beach: http://alligatoradventure.com/. Adisyn really liked seeing all the Alligators and other animals. She even got to touch an alligator and snake!

To get ready for warm weather we planted some flowers (inside of course). She loved putting the seats in the pods then we watched it grow everyday! She was so proud of herself!

It's so nice to see the weather getting warmer and there's more things for us to do outside! Auntie Jeannie bought me a cute outfit that is perfect for the warmer weather!
